Vous croiserez peut-être des enfants jouant au football, ou des femmes transportant des marchandises sur la tête. La vie au bord du lac est paisible, même si la pluie peut parfois perturber le rythme.

Côté architecture, vous découvrirez un mélange d'influences. De belles maisons coloniales se côtoient avec des constructions plus modernes. L'architecture est souvent simple et fonctionnelle, adaptée au climat tropical. Les bananiers et les eucalyptus, omniprésents, créent un paysage luxuriant et verdoyant.
