October and November in Rome offer a magical blend of mild weather, fewer crowds than the peak summer months, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Our culinary adventure begins immediately! Imagine yourselves, strolling through the charming Trastevere neighborhood, the air alive with the sound of laughter and lively chatter. We'll indulge in traditional Roman pasta, cacio e pepe or amatriciana, washed down with a crisp glass of local wine. Expect to pay around €25-€35 per person for a delicious dinner in a trattoria. And of course, no trip to Rome is complete without indulging in gelato – a daily ritual, if you please!

The number of attractions in Rome is truly staggering; we'll focus on a curated selection to savor the essence of the city. The Colosseum and Roman Forum are, of course, a must-see, steeped in history and offering a captivating glimpse into ancient Rome. Entry to both sites costs approximately €16 per person. Next, the Pantheon, a marvel of architectural ingenuity, inspires awe with its grandeur. Entrance is free, but prepare to be mesmerized.

We'll also explore Vatican City, a country within a city! St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, home to the Sistine Chapel, are breathtaking. Expect to spend at least half a day here and budget around €17 per person for entry to the museums. Remember to dress respectfully! The Trevi Fountain, a symbol of Rome, calls for a coin toss to ensure your return (and maybe a lovely photo opportunity!).
