Не забудьте попробовать поке (сырая рыба с рисом и соусом), калауа (салат из тунца) и ломи-ломи сёмгу (маринованная сёмга). Алкоголь – отдельная история! Коктейли в барах – от 15 долларов, пиво – от 5 долларов. За неделю на еду и напитки на пару мы потратили около 500 долларов.

Перемещение по острову – это песня! Аренда автомобиля на неделю обойдется примерно в 300-400 долларов. Можно, конечно, воспользоваться общественным транспортом, но это займёт больше времени. Такси дороговато – одна поездка в среднем 20-30 долларов. Экскурсии? Цены варьируются от 50 до 200 долларов с человека в зависимости от программы.

Что касается жилья, то средняя стоимость номера в отеле 4* на двоих – от 150 до 300 долларов в сутки. Конечно, можно найти варианты дешевле или дороже, всё зависит от ваших предпочтений. Мы выбрали отель с видом на океан – это стоило нам 250 долларов за ночь на двоих, за неделю 1750 долларов.

Культурные мероприятия? Обязательно посетите исторические места, например, Иао-Вэлли. Вступительный билет – 5 долларов с человека. Музыка на улицах – смесь традиционной гавайской и современной. Звуки океана, пение птиц – всё это создаёт неповторимую атмосферу. Местные жители – очень доброжелательны и приветливы, всегда готовы помочь. Туристы – разношёрстная компания, от семейных пар до молодых путешественников. Все наслаждаются солнцем, океаном и красивыми пейзажами. На сувениры и развлечения мы потратили около 300 долларов на пару. Итого, за неделю на двоих мы потратили примерно 3000 долларов. (без учёта авиабилетов).
