Day 1: Arrival & Ometepe Town Exploration
We'll arrive at Moyogalpa, the main port, by boat from San Jorge (approx. $10 per person). From there, we'll head to your charming hotel in Ometepe Town (Accommodation: $50 per couple per night, for 3 nights). We'll then take a leisurely stroll through the town, observing the colonial architecture and friendly faces. The evening is for enjoying a delicious traditional Nicaraguan dinner – try the vigorón (yucca, chicharrón, and cabbage salad) at a local restaurant (approx. $20 per couple).
Day 2: Volcano Hike & Indigenous Culture
Today, we conquer Concepción Volcano! A guided hike is recommended (approx. $30 per person, including entrance fee), leading you through coffee plantations and offering breathtaking panoramic views. In the afternoon, we'll visit a local Chorotega community to learn about their rich traditions and crafts (small donation encouraged). The afternoon is for relaxation, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and the sounds of nature.
Day 3: Waterfalls, Beaches, and Local Flavors
Today’s adventure takes us to the stunning San Ramón Waterfall. The visit includes swimming in its cool, refreshing waters (entrance fee: $5 per person). Afterward, we'll unwind on the beautiful beaches near the waterfall, enjoying the sunset. Dinner tonight is a delightful treat at a restaurant in Altagracia, known for its fresh seafood (approx. $25 per couple).
Day 4: Departure
